Reality Shows Bite

My favorite dragacapella beautyshop quartet, The Kinsey Sicks, auditioned for this year's edition of America's Got Talent. They advanced to Las Vegas week, but unfortunately didn't make it to the finals where America would have voted for them.

Below is a clip of their audition, followed by a raucous standing ovation from the crowd. Why do the judges look like they're in pain?

Although their voices and images have been used in promos since before the season premiere, this clip wasn't available until GLAAD published an article wondering why they weren't seen on the show. I guess the producers don't particularly like real talent. Can't say I'm surprised. The show is all about ratings, not talent. The Sicks will continue to do what they do best: entertain enthusiastic audiences around the country. They're much too good for The (aged) Hoff anyway.
