Philly Fundies Flip Their Shit Over Atheist Billboard

G and I saw this billboard a few weeks ago on our return from Wildwood. I wondered how long it would take before the fundies created an "uproar." It's wonderful that a group of secular, humanist organizations (Greater Philadelphia Coalition of Reason) were able to pull together in order to create a very visible presence in the Philly area. I hope this catches on in more cities.

The head of the AFA in PA, Diane Gramley, had this to say regarding the billboards in a recent One News Now "article."

"I'm astounded by this billboard in Philadelphia, but it pretty much follows along the course that Philadelphia is headed down. I mean, when we see things happening in Philadelphia, from the Boy Scouts to [the city's] pro-homosexual leanings, I guess I'm not totally surprised."

Yes, sad indeed. How dare the city not tear down the billboards and burn them post haste! Free speech is for everyone, Diane, even the crazy fundies such as your fine self. You are also welcome to purchase a billboard to spew your hate and intolerance.
