Happy Anniversary, Musicguy!

I've been so busy with the musical that I completely forgot about my Coming Out Anniversary! I came out of the closet officially on April 15, 1999. It's been nine years since I kicked open that door, and I couldn't be happier.

Life in the closet was miserable and stifling. I was always afraid, always reluctant to be myself, always worried that people would find out who I really was and some terrible calamity would result.

Nothing awful every happened. In fact, life got easier. You can read my coming out story here.
